  The voice of the ancient of days is never silent. He always speaks. He spoke from the beginning of creation and through the prophets and apostles and He is still speaking today. He has such a still small voice that ones needs to be in complete stillness in the heart before you can hear. You need pay attention when He speaks because you may miss it. God speaks in various ways, not only audibly. Even in silence, His voice can be heard within. It can come in the form of a thought, advice, knowledge or an enlightenment. God is not a one way God. You need to check to know how He speaks and walks with you. Does God speak to you? How do you hear from God? Know that the voice of God is as new and refreshing as in the past!   The soul is the seat of spiritual battle. There are many weapons of the enemy targeted against it. The main purpose of the works of Satan is to win the soul to himself and burn eternally with it in the fire of God's wrath. He tirelessly schemes all kinds of attacks upon the soul for it to succumb to his will and tricks. The soul cannot win this battle unless it is connected to a greater power. Any soul which is disconnected from God is automatically a prey of the enemy. Dear, let your soul abide in the Lord. Dwell in His secret place and remain in the wings of His protection. Lift up your soul to God and He shall never let you be ashamed. Psalms 25:1-2 To You, O LORD, I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in You; Let me not be ashamed; Let not my enemies triumph over me.

  We serve a living God who never fails. All His promises are true. God fulfils His promises and our heart desires. When we pray believing, He will surely do for when we ask He answers. There is nothing He cannot do. When Boaz saw that Ruth desires he marries her, he promised her to fulfil her request and he did. Ruth was known as a virtuous woman in that town. If a human can fulfil a promise, how much more God? Beloved, believe in God, trust in Him and He shall bring to pass all that your heart desires in Him! Ruth 3:11 "And now, my daughter, do not fear. I will do for you all that you request, for all the people of my town know that you are a virtuous woman. Psalm 37: 4-6 Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday. We were created in the image of God. Therefore, we need show the character of God. As a Christian, you should bear all the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Kindness is a a character of God which we must also show to all. Just as God showed and showered His kindness upon us, even when we don't deserve it, so must we do same. We  should be kind to all men, not only those who love us. Ruth showed much kindness to Naomi. She obeyed her in every thing, even when she opted for her to marry her close relative-- Boaz, she humbly agree and followed her instructions. Dear, don't let the light of your kindness grow dim because of the ungratefulness of some people. Be kind even when people don't acknowledge it for God shall surely reward your kindness! * Ruth 3:10 * _ Then he said, "Blessed are you of the LORD, my daughter!   Ruth never showed any sign of disobedience to Naomi, neither was she fed up of living with her amidst all difficulties. It's very interesting to know this relationship between a mother and daughter-in-law. Most married women have issues with their mother-in-laws and vice versa. But Naomi and Ruth lived peaceably, each bearing the weaknesses of the other. They didn't  quarrel, but lived in love. Ruth treated Naomi as her own mother and cared for her. She obeyed her in all things and never for once went against her will, except when she insisted to follow her, which was the plan of God. Beloved, are you obeying the commandments of God? Don't obey part of what God says to you, but ALL. Ruth 3: 5 And she said to her, "All that you say to me I will do". Joshua 24:24 _ And the people said to Joshua, "The LORD our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!"

  In her dark and difficult times, Naomi chose to be called bitter instead of   her name which means pleasant and gentle. Yet, God never forgot about her for He had a glorious plan and future for her without her knowledge. The Lord led Ruth to glean in the field of Boaz through whom God changed their story from zero to hero and grass to grace. The Kindness of God is wonderful! Even when our hope blurs and our faith subsides, He still come in to shower His kindness upon our lives. Naomi thought she had no hope again, but God gave her hope. Beloved, keep trusting in God for His kindness never fails! * Ruth 2:20 * Then Naomi said to her daughter-in-law, "Blessed be he of the LORD, who has not forsaken His kindness to the living and the dead!" And Naomi said to her, "This man is a relation of ours, one of our close relatives."

When Naomi saw all the selfless sacrifices of Ruth, she couldn't help but sought wellbeing for her. This shows that it takes obedient, humility and service for you to get connected to your destiny helpers. If Ruth had not been submissive to Naomi, she wouldn't have been honored to that extent.  Naomi sought security for her by connecting her to her close relative-- Boaz, to marry her. As we obey and submit to the leadings of the Holy Spirit of God, we remain secure in Him and He works all things together for our good. There is nothing He cannot do for He is a protocol breaker. The Lord is your shield and buckler, obey Him! Ruth 3:1 Then Naomi her mother-in-law said to her, “My daughter, shall I not seek security for you, that it may be well with you?

  The name 'Mara' was a name that Naomi chose to be called when she returned to Israel from the country of Moab, where she lost all her things including her husband and two sons. She was left with only her daughter-in-law, Ruth. 'Mara' means 'bitter'. Naomi was in a great sorrowful and bitter state. That was the reason she chose to be called Mara instead of her real name. Beloved, even though your situations may be worse, yet you need count your blessings and give thanks to God. Be mindful of the negative thoughts and words that comes to your heart during times of difficulties and trials. Naomi forgot that she still has her life and even a daughter that God has graced her to live with. God changed her story through Ruth. Whatever thing that you are passing through now, remember that God is faithful and He shall turn your sorrows to joy. Ruth 1:20-21 But she said to them, “Do not call me Naomi; call me Mara, for the Almighty has dealt very bitterly with me. I

  It is not all who proclaim the name of God will enter Heaven. How is your personal relationship with the Lord? We should all be careful not to glory yet, for Satan is seriously working. Beloved, examine yourself. If Christ Jesus should come now, will you go with Him? If you can't go with Him, then you need repent and change your character. Stop all forms of works of the flesh. You have to do the will of the Father before you can enter Heaven. It takes a selfless and surrendered life to do His will. The Lord said if you'll follow Him, take up your cross, and the cross is heavy. If you don't do that which is righteous, you can't go to HEAVEN. All works of the flesh are works of iniquity or unrighteousness. When you do these things, you can't be with the Lord. Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesi

  The Bible says whatever you want your brethren to do for you, do same for them. When will you stop gossiping about others? When will you stop condemning and judging others? Repent! For whatever measure you give unto others, it'll bounce back to you. You that is deceiving men with fake dates on expired things, would you have enjoyed such product if it was you? Married men or women committing adultery would you have been happy if the other spouse does same? Why are you discriminating among your children? Let's show love and gratitude for one another. Ruth was very decisive in her steps to follow Naomi to her hometown. How can a Moabite leave everything behind including her parents and family to follow her poor in-law to a place she'll be a stranger? Definitely, Naomi had revealed her God to her and had taught her about Him. Ruth exercised faith in God and chose to live the rest of His life with Him and His people. She risked her life and left all pleasures in her country to be among God's people. She never failed to keep her promise to Naomi. She obeyed her in all areas and was very submissive. No wonder God blessed her and was counted among the genealogy of Jesus Christ. She was described as a virtuous woman. Beloved, how decisive are you in your walk with the Lord? Do you follow Him in total obedience to His Words? Have you forsaken the world and its pleasures to wholly be with the Lord?   Nehemiah was very courageous to repair and rebuild the broken walls of Jerusalem, irrespective of the many attacks and discouragements of enemies and oppositions. He encouraged the remnant Jews to rise up and build amidst all difficulties and battles. Beloved, what are you afraid of in your Christian journey? Don't let anything or anyone distract you from building your life in Christ and His Word. Repair your broken walls. Yes, arise and build for God is with you and you are more than a conqueror! Nehemiah 2:18 Then I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also the king's words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for this good work.

MESSAGE BY: GOD'S SERVANT MICHAEL OSEI AFFREH What have you really done for God after He saved you? It's not going to church or your offering, that's your duty. But what can you really do for God to be proud of you? Our Lord Jesus had only one purpose when He came on earth. According to John 3:16, it says 'For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life'. The Bible says God did not send the Son to come and judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Beloved, the death of Jesus that has brought us freedom was because we too will be vessels through which others will be saved. Many are lost in these days. Your words can bring salvation  to others. Because whatever you do will be rewarded. If you do good, you do for yourself, if you do bad, it's before you. This is an akan proverb.   No matter the level of your education or who you are, you'll surely die. Whatever you're doing in your secret place will surely be revealed. There are some using powers of darkness to get possessions, I want to tell you that if you don't repent, Jesus will surely come and judge us all according to our works.  You cannot hide whatever you are doing from God. Many are secretly sinning against God. A day is coming that God is going to judge all secret sins. Let's repent from whatever sin we find ourselves. Our works will pass through fire and they'll follow us. God has seen whatever you are doing.  Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

  Beloved, you cannot hide whatever you are doing in secret from God, no matter how skillful or fast you are. Whatever you are doing at work, marriage, etc., is naked before God. A day is coming that you'll make an account before God. The sin in the heart is very dangerous of all. Christianity is not all about the heart, but our outward appearances too. There are hidden sins and filthiness in the heart which are all open to God. If what you have harbored in your heart against someone is evil, you need repent before it's too late. You shall account for any sin you do with your heart or thought. What are you devising in your heart that is against God? 1 Corinthians 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. Jeremiah 17:9-10 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

  God's love is so personal and intimate that when you experience it, you begin to change. Repentance spring out of the knowledge of God's love for the sinner. When you know how much God loves you, you won't do anything to hurt His heart as you return same love to Him. God's love is unconditional, which means it doesn't base on what you do. Even while we were yet sinners, He made provisions for us to be saved through Christ Jesus. Oh that we have the eyes to see how much God loves us and seeking for us to have a loving relationship with Him! When we personalize John 3:16, it will be like: For God so loved me,   that he gave his only begotten Son, that I believe in him and not perish, but have everlasting life.

  The God we serve is an omnipotent God! He is All Powerful and Almighty. His power exceeds all powers of the kingdom of darkness. There is nothing that the enemy has planned against you that shall stand for God is beside you helping you out. Who is your adversary? What can they do when the King of kings is  with you and the Lion of Judah roar? All you need to do is to trust and lean on Him with all your heart. Never entertain doubt on what God can do for you. Have faith! Isaiah 50:8-10 He is near that justifieth me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me. Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up. Who is among you that feareth the LORD, that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.

  There are many hidden things within us that only God can reveal and deal with them. We need to humble ourselves in total surrender for Him to work in us and mould us anew in accordance with His Word. We don't have the eyes to see what is in our hearts, but God sees everything. Out of the heart comes all forms of evil and the issues of life spring from there. Our hearts can be the dwelling place of God only when it is cleansed and made pure for He is a Holy God and cannot dwell in sin or evil. Ignorant is never an excuse. Many are in hell for the sins they weren't aware of.  Don't wait till it's too late, cry before the Lord now in fasting and prayers to search out any sin or thing that may hinder you from living eternally with Him in Heaven. Psalm 139:23-24 Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.

  God does not joke with His Word for that is the only thing binding Him. He has lifted His Word above His name. That is why no matter how much you use His name, you can never enter Heaven unless you completely obey His Word. He created everything through His Word. The Word is light that is why the first Word God ever spoke during creation was Light, which was Christ JESUS. Walking in the light of God is walking in accordance with His Word. When you live and abide in the Word, you'll abide in the Lord. Let us eschew all forms of darkness and allow the Word of God lead us in every area of our lives. Psalm 119: 105 Your word is a lamp to my feet, And a light to my path.

  Christ Jesus is the Living Word of God. He is the Bread of Heaven for all men. It was through Him that all things were made for He was the Light that first appeared in the darkness of chaos of the world during creation (Gen. 1:3). He came down from HEAVEN, dwelt among us and died to save us. Just as He physically came to dwell with us, so should we let Him dwell in us. The Word of God must dwell richly in our hearts. How much of the Word do you have you in you? How well do you study the Word? How much time do you spend with Him? Those who learn and obey the Word, are transformed to be like Him! John 1:14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

  There are many things we are all seeking in the journey of life. We all have our priorities and preferences. However, the Bible has outlined two main things to seek and we shall receive all others in addition. These are seeking first God's Kingdom and His righteousness (Matt. 6:33). After the two disciples who followed John heard about Jesus, they followed Him. When the Lord saw them, He asked them, "What do you seek?", and they answered, "Rabbi, where are you staying?" (John 1:37). These disciples were not just following Jesus, they abode with Him. Beloved, what are you seeking as you follow Jesus? Are you just seeking His blessings or to know Him and live eternally with Him in HEAVEN? Set your  priorities right with the Word! "Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore!" (Psalm 105:4)

  The power of God can never be manifested without His Word and Spirit. The apostles received power when the Holy Spirit came upon them. And it is only after such an encounter that they were able to share the Gospel and do many exploits for the Kingdom of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ was filled with the Holy Spirit right from birth and He did great and marvelous things. If He said we will do greater things than He did, then we need greater power and the fullness of His Word and Spirit in us. Many wait on God for His power only without having a relationship with Him. Most Christians want to manifest God's power, but they're grieving and quenching the Holy Spirit who is the main initiator of revival and power. If you're seeking His power, live to please Him! Acts 10:38 _ How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the * Holy Spirit and with power, * who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. _
