TIME FOR SOLID FOOD

There are many people who have come to the Lord for years, yet they are still babies in the sight of God. Even though they've grown in age, they are still crawling in the things of God. They can boast of the years they've spent in God, but they hadn't any intimacy with God or understand even the basic truth of the Gospel. They are still taking the milk of babies like new converts.

Just like patents desired their wards grow after birth, so does God wants His children to grow in grace and the knowledge of Christ Jesus through His Word. We need to take the solid food of the Word and chew the bones. Beloved, it's time to grow and be like Christ Jesus-- the Word.

Hebrews 5:12-14

For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Are we doing His will? Can others see God through us? The Lord has commanded us to preach the Gospel to those who are lost. Brethren, are we doing that or feeling ashamed to preach the Word of God? If we are not preaching the Word, it means we are not obeying Him. JESUS CHRIST loves us so much that He does not want us to lose our souls on the last day, but if we do not heed to His teaching and counsels, we will end up in hell fire. He will be ashamed of us on the last day because we were first ashamed of Him in this world for not accepting and preaching about Him to others.
