STAYING WITH GOD FOR COMPLETE VICTORY

 


The book of Hebrew was written to the backsliding Jews whom the writer intended to bring back to the faith. The writer outlined the reason they should keep abiding in the Lord and the dangers of turning their backs on Him. It is said that, 'winners never quit and quitters never win'. It is only when you hold unto your faith and be still in the Lord till the end that you'll experience the victory of the Lord.

There is no war that is won at the beginning or middle, victory always come at the end. If you want to have complete victory in the Lord, you must continue to stay in Him. As a soldier in the Lord, there is no retreat. You'll be in more danger if you run from the battle for you will receive more arrows alone without the Lord. God helps those who abide in Him and keep up their faith. Beloved, you need to sit with God till He makes all your enemies your footstool just like Jesus did.

Hebrews 1:13
But to which of the angels has He ever said: "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool"? (See also, Psalm 110:1)

Are we doing His will? Can others see God through us? The Lord has commanded us to preach the Gospel to those who are lost. Brethren, are we doing that or feeling ashamed to preach the Word of God? If we are not preaching the Word, it means we are not obeying Him. JESUS CHRIST loves us so much that He does not want us to lose our souls on the last day, but if we do not heed to His teaching and counsels, we will end up in hell fire. He will be ashamed of us on the last day because we were first ashamed of Him in this world for not accepting and preaching about Him to others.
