PARTAKERS OF THE HEAVENLY CALLING


 

The first thing the Bible exhort us to seek is the Kingdom and its righteousness. God didn't call us with an earthly calling, but a heavenly one. That is why we must set our eyes on things above, not earth (Col. 3:2). There is a heavenly calling and we have been called to be partakers of it. Being a partaker of this call means we should be very obedient to our Heavenly Father.

First of all, we must accept this call, look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith and be faithful to the end. Many received this same call, yet they didn't abide and live in accordance with the commands and Words of God so they couldn't enter into the Heavenly Kingdom. Beloved, know that we are heavenly pilgrims passing through this world, very soon, we shall forever be in the bossom of our Lord. What then are you doing to remain a partaker of this heavenly call?

Hebrews 3:1-2
Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our confession, Christ Jesus, who was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was faithful in all His house.

JESUS CHRIST OUR REDEEMER

Are we doing His will? Can others see God through us? The Lord has commanded us to preach the Gospel to those who are lost. Brethren, are we doing that or feeling ashamed to preach the Word of God? If we are not preaching the Word, it means we are not obeying Him. JESUS CHRIST loves us so much that He does not want us to lose our souls on the last day, but if we do not heed to His teaching and counsels, we will end up in hell fire. He will be ashamed of us on the last day because we were first ashamed of Him in this world for not accepting and preaching about Him to others. GRATITUDE AND THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving is giving devotion, sacrifice, praise or an offering. Thanksgiving is to glorify God as an act of worship, giving thanks for all things as part of God's providence. When We choose gratitude, things return to their right place. Being thankful helps us bond with God. He is a great God and a great King above all gods, He answers our prayers through worship.
