LIVE IN THE SPIRIT

 



The Christian life isn't a carnal life by the patterns of the world, but a spiritual life of the Word of God. Whatever happens in the physical already happened in the spiritual. The battle of our heavenly pilgrimage is a spiritual battle with unseen demonic armies. Therefore, it's very necessary to put on the whole armour of God to overcome the enemy.

Living in the spirit means living the Word of God by the leadings of the Holy Spirit. You do not choose or decide your own way, but you allow the will of God to be done in your life. It is only when you live in the spirit that your discernment are sharpened and you put off the works, lust and desires of the flesh.

_Galatians 5:16-17, 24-25_
_This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh_. _For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would_. _And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

JESUS CHRIST OUR REDEEMER

  *SCRIPTURE*📜 _"Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him also shall the son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his father with the holy angels (MarK 8:38)._ ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ *MESSAGE*📖 Do we really love God? Are we doing His will? Can others see God through us? The Lord has commanded us to preach the Gospel to those who are lost. Brethren, are we doing that or feeling ashamed to preach the Word of God? If we are not preaching the Word, it means we are not obeying Him. JESUS CHRIST loves us so much that He does not want us to lose our souls on the last day, but if we do not heed to His teaching and counsels, we will end up in hell fire. He will be ashamed of us on the last day because we were first ashamed of Him in this world for not accepting and preaching about Him to others. Thanksgiving is giving devotion, sacrifice, praise or an offering. Thanksgiving is to glorify God as an act of worship, giving thanks for all things as part of God's providence. When We choose gratitude, things return to their right place. Being thankful helps us bond with God. He is a great God and a great King above all gods, He answers our prayers through worship.
