FOCUS ON THE LORD

 



There are too much distractions and discouragements in our Christian journey to Heaven. The traps of the enemy to cause us to fall are many all around us. We can completely overcome them when our eyes are set on the Lord. We must focus on Christ if we really ever want to finish our race and enter Heaven. Apostle Peter was able to walk on the sea when His eyes were set on Christ, but immediately he turned his eyes towards the storms, he started to drown.

Beloved, no matter how boisterous the wind of your life is, don't set your mind and heart on them to be discouraged, focus on the Lord, have faith in Him and believe in His power.

"Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Heb. 12:2).

  When Christ Jesus walked the earth, He passed through all the physical things that humans are passing through. He was tempted  like we are. He fought battles in the mind, and even His emotions. Are we doing His will? Can others see God through us? The Lord has commanded us to preach the Gospel to those who are lost. Brethren, are we doing that or feeling ashamed to preach the Word of God? If we are not preaching the Word, it means we are not obeying Him. JESUS CHRIST loves us so much that He does not want us to lose our souls on the last day, but if we do not heed to His teaching and counsels, we will end up in hell fire. He will be ashamed of us on the last day because we were first ashamed of Him in this world for not accepting and preaching about Him to others. GRATITUDE AND THANKSGIVING

When We choose gratitude, things return to their right place. Being thankful helps us bond with God. He is a great God and a great King above all gods, He answers our prayers through worship.
